Wave to Showcase Trusted Computing Innovations Alongside Samsung at CARTES 2011

Paris (CARTES) — November 14, 2011 Wave Systems Corp. (NASDAQ:WAVX www.wave.com) will join Samsung at CARTES & IDentification, the world’s leading event for digital security and smart technologies, November 15-17, 2011. Wave will demonstrate its trusted computing solutions at Samsung’s stand (035) in Hall 3 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center.

Wave also announced today that it will provide services, software and marketing to Samsung as part of Samsung’s plans to enable semiconductor capabilities in its PC, tablet and consumer device product lines.
“CARTES is the focal point for innovation each year, where major trends impacting security and authentication in the mobile space are decided,” said Brian Berger, Wave’s Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales. “We’re pleased to join Samsung for this event as we show how trusted computing provides a fundamental new approach to security.”

CARTES will attract an estimated 450 exhibitors, 20,000 visitors and 1300 delegates this year.
