Install
Click the 'download now' button to download the installer. Once the installer is downloaded, run it to start the install process then follow the simple on-screen instructions to complete installation. -
Activate
At the end of the installaion process, TVTonic will launch automatically in Windows Media Center. You will need to activate your user account before using the software. No personal information is required. -
Subscribe
Once TVTonic is installed and activated on your computer you'll want to subscribe to your favorite channels. Browse the hundreds of channels in the Channel Guide and subscribe to a few. Once subscribed, you'll receive the newest content automatically.
System Requirements
- Software
- OS — Windows® Vista Ultimate or Home Premium is required
- Windows Media Center required — included with Windows Vista Ultimate or Home Premium
- QuickTime 7.2 or above is required for QuickTime video playback (download here). Note: TVTonic 3.3 64-bit currently does not support QuickTime playback.
- Hardware
- processor — 1 GHz 32-bit processor minimum (2GHz 32-bit processor recommended)
- memory — 1 GB (2 GB recommended)
- disk space — minimum of .5GB per subscribed channel plus an additional 1GB of free space
- video — support for DirectX 9 graphics, minimum of 128MB RAM, WDDM Driver, Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware, 32 bits per pixel
- Bandwidth
- broadband Internet connection required (cable, DSL or similiar; not recommended for metered-broadband accounts)
- “always on” connection for the best experience
- TVTonic delivers large video files; it may use a lot of bandwidth. TVTonic is not recommended for people using dial-up or metered broadband accounts.
